About Aaron

I have been a photographer since 1987.

I have a broad base of photographic experience due to exposure and interest in various tools and techniques of light-based image making. From pinhole to digital, I find something to explore in nearly every facet of the photographic process.

I studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography, graduating in 1996, and have taught various photography courses in the San Diego region at Grossmont College, Palomar College and UCSD.

I have extensive experience in location and studio lighting techniques which I enjoy sharing with students.  I strive to invigorate and enliven the process of learning for my students, while imparting a strong foundation of knowledge and understanding about the technique and art of Photography. 

I provide consultation in photography, printing, color management and digital workflow.
